The Liverpool One Foundation

Liverpool One

The Liverpool ONE Foundation was formally established in 2005 by the private sector partners involved in delivering the Paradise Project who were committed to supporting the local community.

From the outset, the Directors of the Foundation anticipated that it would continue after the development process had run its course.  In September 2009 the Directors of the Liverpool ONE Foundation and Trustees of the Westminster Foundation agreed to pass the management of the Liverpool ONE Foundation across to the Community Foundation for Merseyside (CFM).

CFM is one of the largest community foundations in the UK and has extensive relationships with charities local to Liverpool ONE.  Their expertise in community grant-making really is second to none and working with them will ensure that grants from the Liverpool ONE Foundation really do make a difference to the lives of people across Merseyside both now and in the future.

Projects should meet one or more of the following themes;

·         The prevention or relief of poverty

·         Education and skills – especially for young people

          people’s diversionary activities; improvements to the local environment
