The Westminster Foundation makes grants to a broad range of charities and organisations whose objects principally address our three main areas of interest: Social Care and Education, Conservation & Environment and Military Welfare issues in certain geographic areas only.
SOCIAL CARE AND EDUCATION
Social care - registered charities that support for example homeless people; prison offenders; those with learning difficulties; facial disfigurements; elderly people; relief for those with chronic illness. Education in areas of study or expertise relevant to Grosvenor’s core business activities (property, land management, historic buildings) such as training and retraining to help disadvantaged people.
MILITARY WELFARE
Registered charities that support serving and former members of the armed services.
ENVIRONMENT AND CONSERVATION
Registered charities that support protection of rural or specific habitats; places of worship and community centres in Grosvenor locations.
The Trustees meet four times a year and grants are made entirely at their discretion.
